Music Together^® is a  wonderful participation-oriented program developed by teachers and musicians who are involved in the discovery of how children learn most effectively, and who really love music.  The program is research-based and is developmentally appropriate for very young children.

The Music Together program, for children and a significant adult in their lives, is a structured 10 week long early childhood music experience that is shared by an adult (mother, father, grandparent, guardian, etc.) and children ages 6 months to 6 years. Having fun, learning, and musical development at a young age is the key.

Taught by nationally registered teachers, Pamela Davies, Salli Sledge and Tonya Strickler, the program incorporates active singing, listening and rhythmic movement experiences intentionally designed to foster musical and developmental growth in children.

Materials provided to each family include a parent’s guide, songbook and two CD’s. The 45 -minute classes start periodically throughout the year and run 10 weeks. Check the Calendar of Events or inquire at the Center for early registration and class start dates.

The classes are typically held on weekday mornings. Minimum class enrollment is 6 with a maximum of 12. The fee per child (over the age of 6 months) is $140 for the 10 week session plus the one time $25 registration fee. There is a discount for additional children in the same family and for early registration. Full and partial scholarships are available.
