Located in Spokane, Washington, on the beautiful Mukogawa – Fort Wright campus, Holy Names Music Center has been providing the highest quality music instruction for over a century, through private lessons, special programs, and summer camps.

The Center serves students of all ages, abilities, income levels and ethnic origins from the entire Spokane community. We are happy to be able to offer tuition assistance so that anyone with sincere interest can participate.

HNMC cello teacher, Johannes Kleinmann says,"Both my parents were music teachers. I started on the violin with my dad as a teacher. I sat on his lap playing the violin when I was 4 years old. I decided to be a professional musician (cellist) at age 10 and I actually asked my parents for permission to be a professional cellist."

The Katy Reeves Performing Arts Scholarship is now accepting applications for their 2021 scholarship. If you know any graduating senior who is pursuing a post-secondary education in dance, music (voice or instrumental) or theater we ask that you share this information with them and encourage them to apply. Application deadline is April 30, 2021.

April 11th is Barbershop Quartet Day. Check out the The 2021 Virtual Junior Quartet Competition to see how the youth of today are carrying on this classic tradition!
