Spokane, WA — Holy Names Music Center proudly presented Together We Shine: Candlelight Christmas Concert, a cherished seasonal tradition that brought together faculty, students, community musicians, and audiences for an afternoon of warmth, artistry, and shared celebration.
Held in the glow of candlelight, the concert featured a thoughtfully curated program blending luminous classical works, beloved holiday favorites, chamber music, solo performances, and a joyful community sing-along. The event reflected Holy Names Music Center’s commitment to artistic excellence, community connection, and meaningful musical experiences.
“This concert would not have been possible without the generous support of our donors and sponsors,” said Holy Names Music Center. “Their contributions played a vital role in making this year’s performance such a meaningful and uplifting experience for performers and audience members alike.”
Thanks to Chief Event Sponsor RiverRock Wealth Management LLC, Holy Names Music Center was able to provide a modest honorarium to every performer, recognizing their time, talent, and dedication. This important step helps ensure the sustainability, fairness, and continued excellence of the organization’s programming.
The program included works by Pietro Yon, Frédéric Chopin, Ariel Ramírez, Leroy Anderson, Dmitri Shostakovich, John Rutter, Franz Schubert, Edvard Grieg, and Arcangelo Corelli, culminating in a festive audience sing-along of beloved carols. Faculty, students, and community musicians shared the stage, highlighting the collaborative spirit that defines Holy Names Music Center.

In addition to the musical program, the event featured a festive raffle that added to the spirit of celebration. Prizes ranged from local gift certificates and HNMC-branded merchandise to larger items, including a 13-piece cookware set and a children’s electric guitar with amplifier. Increased participation made the raffle one of the most successful in recent years.
