Christopher Rogers

Christopher Rogers is a dedicated classical guitarist and educator with over a decade of teaching experience in LA County. Since 2012, he has taught private and group lessons and continues to inspire students with his patient and kind approach. He uses the Suzuki method, which he received training for in 2018, to foster confidence and a love for practice in his students. In addition to teaching, he serves as Operations Administrator for the Guitar Foundation of America, one of the world’s most influential nonprofits dedicated to advancing the classical guitar. Since 2022, he has been studying the Alexander Technique under William Conable.

He earned both his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from California State University, Fullerton, studying with Vladimir Gorbach and GRAMMY Award-winning artist Andrew York. During his time at CSUF, he was awarded the Joan Marie Ramos Memorial for Classical Guitar Performance and the Mu Phi Epsilon scholarships.

He has performed in masterclasses with renowned guitarists such as Scott Tennant, Paul Galbraith, and Roberto Aussel.

He moved to Spokane in 2021 and began teaching with HNMC in 2022.
