Yevgeniy Grechko, Cello

Yevgeniy Grechko holds two Master of Arts in Music Degrees in Cello Performance and Symphony and Opera Conducting. In 2003 he participated in the Carnegie Hall Fellows Program studying with Michael Stern, Paul Hersh, Ian Swensen, and members of the St. Lawrence Quartet. Yevgeniy performed as a conductor with the Kyrgyz National Broadcasting Company Symphony Orchestra, Bishkek City Symphony Orchestra, and Karaganda Symphony Orchestra (Kazakhstan). He has participated as an ensemble member and soloist in concerts at Carnegie Hall (NY), University of California San Francisco, Istanbul City Concert Hall, Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall, Kyrgyz National Conservatory Concert Hall, Kyrgyz Opera and Ballet Theatre. From 2011 to 2018 he was a conductor of the State Chui Chamber Orchestra. In 2018 he moved to the United States. Now he plays for the Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra, conducts the Symphony Orchestra and Choir at Pilgrim Slavic Baptist Church in Spokane, and performs in the Seattle, Spokane, and Coeur d’Alene Area.
